Hob is a conceptual branding project for a wood-burning stove. It is designed with modern sensibilities in mind, but invites users to reconnect with traditional cooking & heating processes that have been lost in our era of ‘instant’.
 

I created the brand attributes and visual system for all applications that are paired with the stove. The logo itself consists of hand-drawn letterforms that were later digitized. I designed the visuals to be simple in nature; pairing recyclable materials that feel natural and understated with straightforward typography and handmade elements that communicate the casual quality of cooking.
