NI is a test and measurement company that offers products used by engineers across the world. They recently rebranded and the team and I were brought in to build upon their existing identity with a visual language that speaks to their software capabilities. The approach was to combine abstract UI elements, software graphics, and industry photography to relate the ‘what they do’ with the ‘why they do it’.
The NI team recently updated its brand messaging strategy and wanted to 'thread together' a refreshed graphic device system to reflect that narrative and simplify the complexity of their existing brand assets. Client workshops helped us understand pain points and updates needed to their guidelines to ensure the system could continue to be implemented and scaled easily by any employee.
